30 days of vintage hairstyle - Day 7
30/01/12 12:55
Hi!
The weather in Melbourne is very humid but overcast and windy, and its hard to know what to wear on these type of days. I decided on a half up/half down vintage look. It’s a bit hippy/60’s-70’s era I think. It’s a little labour intensive but still really only takes 10 minutes. Just not a great one to do in a rush (unless you’ve done it a few times). It’s a little hard to see with my hair as its brown and curly, but what I did was tie my hair in knots (just like tying a normal knot) on each side of my hair. I then pinned it back behind my ears and teased the back section of the hair. I played with the volume a little with teasing and hairspray, then pinned it back.
