Where did Sandra V begin?
It is run by the owner, Sandra Vincent, who lives locally and has a love of unique handmade, vintage and 1950's fashion and lifestyle (pretty much anything 50's!). The store opened in Sassafras in November 2009.
Looking at her parents wedding photos (they were married in '57) & loving 40's and 50's Coca Cola memorabillia as a teenager is where her love of vintage began, she then began collection cameras, clothing and other items from the era.
Sandra is also a bit of a collector of barbie dolls, including:
Lucille Ball from 'I Love Lucy', Wonder Woman, Wizard of Oz, Scarlet O'Hara, Joan and Betty from the 60's TV series "Mad Men", and Coca Cola Barbie, some of these are displayed in-store.
